About Jenna Markl

Student Therapist

Jenna has served as a valued member of our practice since June 2023, bringing warmth and expertise to her role as a Masters-level student counselor. Jenna will graduate with her MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Southern New Hampshire University and is dedicated to guiding and supporting individuals of all ages.

While originally from the Pacific Northwest, Jenna has embraced Nevada as her home. A deep connection to her local community fuels her passion for service, which shone through in her past work facilitating Equine Assisted Learning (EAL) for survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence. This experience instilled a trauma-informed approach that remains the cornerstone of her counseling practice.

Personalized care lies at the heart of Jenna’s approach. Employing a variety of evidence-based modalities, including CBT and mindfulness techniques, she customizes interventions that fit each client’s unique strengths and challenges. Jenna recognizes that seeking help can feel intimidating and strives to act as a compassionate advocate and reliable guide. Jenna views it as an honor to partner with clients on their paths toward healing, fostering a secure and accepting space for them to explore their authentic selves within the therapeutic relationship and achieve meaningful change.

Outside of her therapeutic work, Jenna cherishes time with family, finds peace in horseback riding, and enjoys the company of her beloved pets.
